Let's start a Resolution Revolution!!!!

Here we go 2019....another opportunity to determine what, if anything, we would like to change. Not sure whether or not I like the universal pressure of having to change- I'm not perfect, but I haven't necessarily been doing things wrong. After much deliberation, because I am a student of evolution.... I think I would like to start a Resolution Revolution.

Revolution- a sudden, complete or marked change in something. Another definition, according to Dictionary.com could be a single turn of this kind.

Resolution- According to Dictionary.com resolve means to come to a definite or earnest decision about; determine (to do something).

(I will take the items Underlined and in Bold Print as my new revolution resolution definition)

But, do you know who started the resolution tradition??? Well,

The ancient Babylonians are said to have been the first people to make New Year's resolutions, some 4,000 years ago. They were also the first to hold recorded celebrations in honor of the new year—though for them the year began not in January but in mid-March, when the crops were planted.

This is good news for some of us because we really have until mid-March to get it together.

Since this has been going on for over 4,000 years, I say we make a few adjustments (taking into consideration time, purpose and relevance). I'm merely suggesting we start making earnest decisions to do something so complete and sudden it makes a marked difference.

Hmmm, Let's look at what I mean....

a diet vs building better lifestyle choices

to start meditating vs taking time for yourself daily

read the bible or go to church vs strengthening your spirit

start a new career vs building capacity, skills and knowledge for future opportunities

and the list goes on.......

Lets make complete earnest changes that make a difference.

After reflection, a marked difference and earnest decision we have made was/and is Fetch.

Through Fetch, we have resolved to provide quality fashionable clothing for the distinctive woman. Empowered by our desire to follow a passion for clothing, living, and expression!!!

The old adage "if you look good you feel good" has its place. This doesn't override the mind-body connection- being in touch with yourself cannot be replaced by a nice pair of pants (although, it doesn't hurt).

So, as a team, our Resolution Revolutions are as follows:

#1 To assist fashionistas in making their mark wherever they go

(work, home, dancing, lounging, etc);

#2 To follow our passion;

#3 To love and support women as the powerful beings WE are!!!!

#4 To stay true to the desire for Peace, Love and Beauty.....

And,

#5 To listen to our Fetch Babes for guidance.

Join us in the revolution as we aspire to make decisions which yield purposeful positive changes that last not just through 2019, but for a lifetime.
